Introduction
Hi! This shrine is not completely finished, but most the content has been added so you can already read it if you'd like to.
The Animal Crossing (I will refer to it as 'AC') series have been my comfort games for a bit now. That's why I've decided to create a shrine for them. I have played three different AC games in total, including: New Leaf, New Horizons and Pocket Camp.
AC is to me so much more than just a game involving animals. To be honest, the animals aren't even that big of an aspect to the game, if you ask me. The main games are mostly sort of life-sims, where you are spending most time collection furniture, outfits, materials, and fish/bugs. OH, and ofcourse; keeping up with the home loan (in most AC games you pay money to 'Tom Nook' as he upgrades your house to be bigger).
The games
New Leaf
'Animal Crossing: New Leaf' is playable on the Nintendo 3DS.
In New Leaf I've had 2 different save files. The first one was started around 2019, and my current one is from 2021. I wanted to restart the game from the beginning, because in the first save I had completed everything I wanted to.

New Horizons
New Horizons, the Nintendo Switch game with my highest playtime (600+ hours), and every hour played was a fun one :D! This is really my favorite AC game. I prefer it over New Leaf, because unlike that game, you can actually place furniture outside which makes decorating so much more fun (it's the best part of the game IMO). Also the addition of crafting and collecting DIY recipes is a good one. Even though tools breaking can be frustrating, I like the 'challenge' of needing to search for materials to craft a new tool again. In short, New Horizons compared to New Leaf is mostly just better graphics and way more customization.
There's just so much to do, like even after all this time I've spent, I still haven't collected all the recipes/DIYs, items, achievements and all the bugs/fish. I also don't yet have all my 'wishlist' villagers/animals living on my island, so the hunt continues for that xD.

Pocket Camp
After finding out about the existence of Animal Crossing, I was curious to try one of the games. Since Pocket Camp is the only free one, it's the first game I've played. It ended up not being free for me, because I've spent money on it anyway lol! I enjoy this game very much, and played so much that I am over level 150, haha. There's no way to measure it, but I do feel like I've played over 500 hours in total. That probably shows how much I like this game xD.
If you want to add me in the game as friend, my player ID is: 2905 8414 186. I actively sell items in my market box, and I send gifts back to everyone that gifts me :). Oh and I'm doing my best to help others, like sharing bugs during the garden event. Enough reasons to friend me, hehe ;).
Various in-game stuff and photos
In the following sub-headings I'll share some pictures and info about random Animal Crossing stuff.

Amiibo cards collection
Animal Crossing Amiibo cards are collectible cards, which contain a chip that is readable with a NFC reader (newer 3DS models and Switch have those) and thus can be used in-game. For example, in New Leaf you can get certain furniture items by scanning a special RV card, or inviting an animal into your town. In New Horzions you can also invite animals to, in this case, your island. Those are few of the features that these cards are used for.
I own a small collection of Amiibo cards, which you can see in the images below.
